The Prince George Courthouse Library has a new automated circulation system!
As part of an ongoing project, Prince George is the latest courthouse library to be converted to an online circulation system, with an additional three libraries scheduled to be automated this year. This means that now when you use the library catalogue to look for a book you can:

Court Sets Protocol for Production and Review of Text Messages
Flagg v. City of Detroit, 2008 WL 787061 (E.D. Mich. Mar. 20, 2008)
Plaintiff in this case is the minor son of a murder victim, whose murder remains unsolved. The complaint alleges that the defendants engaged in a laxity in investigation, deliberately ignored and actively concealed material evidence, and deprived the plaintiff of an opportunity to bring a wrongful death suit against the murderer.
In a separate order on March 20, 2008, the court denied defendants’ motion to quash subpoenas to SkyTel for the production of certain text messages. The court found that the plaintiff was entitled to pursue...

Madison Street Views Added to Google Maps
Last month I reported that street views of Milwaukee were available in Google Maps. Well, now Madison street views are available as well. Check out the interactive view of the UW Law School below.

Simply do a Google search for an address in Madison and click on the "Street Views" link in the resulting map. You'll see a panoramic view from the street like the one above. Notice that you can pan, rotate and zoom, as well as, move forward or backward down the street.
